Job summary

Family Health West in western Colorado seeks an EMT/Paramedic to support nursing and medical staff with procedures, transport patients, and monitor vital signs.

Qualified applicants hold an unrestricted EMT/Paramedic license in Colorado, current IV and BLS certifications, and have at least 6 months of medical care experience. The role includes day shifts, competitive benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Unrestricted EMT/Paramedic license with the State of Colorado.
• Current IV and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 6 months of Medical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses and medical providers with medical procedures as directed in a timely manner.
• Obtain and practice universal precautions.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to RN or Medical Provider.
• Operate clinical equipment per policies and procedures.
• Transport patients under the direction of Medical Provider or RN.
• Document care/procedures accurately.
