Job summary

UrgentVet, Inc. in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join our after-hours urgent care model.

We provide after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the costs of emergency clinics, with single-doctor shifts and a focus on wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. You will work with a strong, paperless clinic team using cloud EMR, digital x-ray, and in-house IDEXX labs, with a flexible schedule and opportunities for mentorship,

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA accredited college (or ECFVG/PAVE)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the employing state (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach
• Collaborate and engage with the clinical team and leadership
• Grow relationships within the Ft. Myers/Naples community
• Encourage the growth of support staff members through our internal LevelUp training program
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours
