Job summary

UrgentVet Hospitals in Westchase, FL is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to provide after-hours care for canine and feline patients in a single-doctor shift setting. The role emphasizes wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and humane euthanasia in a paperless clinic.

You will work with a strong technical team and benefit from cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and IDEXX in-house lab equipment, with a flexible swing/second shift schedule and a focus on compassionate urgent care.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or equivalent completion).
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state.

Responsibilities

• Serve patients and clients with a relationship-based approach.
• Collaborate with the clinical team and leadership.
• Grow relationships within the practice and the Tampa community.
• Support staff development through internal LevelUp training.
• Manage a varying caseload, including surgeries and appointments during open hours.
