UrgentVet Fort Myers is seeking a licensed DVM to join our after-hours urgent care team. You will treat canine and feline patients, manage common urgent cases, and collaborate with a strong clinical and support staff in a paperless, cloud-based EMR equipped facility.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA accredited college
• Active license in good standing or eligible to obtain one

Description

UrgentVet bridges the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care in the Fort Myers area. We offer after-hours care for canine and feline patients without the additional expense of emergency clinic fees. Our single-doctor shifts offer care for common urgent cases, including wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. Each of our paperless clinics is specially designed to deliver efficient care and equipped with cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a full suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Skills Knowledge, and Expertise

• DVM/VMD degree from an AVMA accredited college (or successful completion of the ECFVG or PAVE program)
• Active license in good standing to practice in the state in which candidate will be employed (or the ability to obtain a license in that state)
