Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Medical Assistant for Urgent Care in Tulsa on a PRN basis. You will assist with treatments, interview patients, measure vital signs, and prepare treatment rooms under supervision.

You’ll also handle clerical tasks and materials management, ensuring a clean, functional environment and accurate transcription of orders as needed. Requirements include BLS within 30 days and MA certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire
• Medical Assistant certification within 6 months of hire
• High school diploma equivalency or 1 year of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with treatments ordered by provider under supervision
• Interview patients, measure vitals, and prepare treatment rooms
• Perform basic clerical duties: answer phones, maintain records, file
• Manage supplies: order and stock, keep environment clean
• Document encounters and transcribe orders as directed by provider
