Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant post-secondary education program preferred.
• Current CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA certification as required by Mercy Health.
• Active BLS required at hire or as stated by location.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under provider supervision.
• Record and document vital signs, chief complaints, and patient information.
• Administer medications as ordered and maintain patient safety and comfort.
