Novant Health Urgent Care in Greer seeks a Certified Medical Assistant/ LPN PRN to support patient prep for physician visits, take vitals, and assist at the front desk. The role involves documenting into the EMR and delivering excellent customer service across centers.

Ideal candidates hold CMA or RMA credentials, complete an accredited MA program, and are willing to work 12-hour shifts and weekends. Training on OSHA/HIPAA is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an Accredited Medical Assisting Program.
• Current CMA or RMA certification.
• Basic medical terminology.
• Trained in OSHA/HIPAA compliance.
• Willing to work 12 hour shifts and weekends.
• Willing to work at other centers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physician visits by taking vitals.
• Document vital information from patient into EMR system.
• Assist with front desk duties including phone calls and updating patient demographics.
• Offer outstanding customer service to patients.
