Qualifications

• Active MA certification: CMA/RMA/CCMA/NCMA/NRCMA (or ABR-OE option if MA cert not obtained)
• 1 year MA experience preferred
• BLS certification required by hire (as applicable)

Responsibilities

• Record patients' medical history and vital signs in medical records
• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vitals
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician
• Collect specimens and prepare them for testing
• Explain treatment procedures and instructions to patients
• Assist providers during examinations
• Travel to other facilities as needed
