Job summary

St. Luke’s Eagle Urgent Care is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support providers, obtain vital signs, and prepare patients for evaluation in a fast-paced urgent care setting. This role emphasizes teamwork, compassionate patient care, and accurate clinical documentation.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, assisting with procedures, coordinating care, and handling occupational health tasks while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required for CMA credentialing.
• BLS CPR certification must be current.
• National CMA certification from NCCT/NAHP/AMT/AAMA/AMCA/NHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs, collect health information, and prepare patients for evaluation and treatment.
• Support providers with patient care needs, including clinical procedures, medications, and diagnostic testing within scope of practice.
• Assist with drug screens and occupational health services.
• Manage patient flow and support efficient clinic operations in a fast-paced urgent care setting.
• Provide excellent customer service while assisting with clinical documentation and care coordination.
