Responsibilities include charting, coordinating referrals, and telecommunication support for emergencies. A valid medical license with BLS is required; DEA, state/federal licensure, and board certification for NPs are expected where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license; board certification for NPs.
• DEA licensure required for practice.
• BLS certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete physical exams and assessments for urgent, emergent, and non-urgent presentations.
• Orders, performs, and interprets tests; analyzes diagnostic images.
• Prescribes or administers treatment, therapy, medications, vaccines, and other care.
• Notates findings and treatment plans in patient charts; ensure timely closures.
