Inova Health System in Northern Virginia is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for our urgent care locations. This outpatient role features a limited call schedule and collaborative, physician-led care in a comprehensive integrated system.

You'll provide frontline urgent care services across multiple facilities with opportunities for growth, education assistance, and strong benefits including medical, dental, vision, retirement match, and loan repayment support.

Qualifications

• Education: NP with advanced practice or PA certification.
• 1+ year of urgent care or emergency medicine preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Mastersin Advanced Clinical Practice or graduate of a post masters certificate program for nurse practitioners, OR certificate from an education program that is accredited by the Council of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs/Schools, American College of Nurse Midwives, American Association of Colleges of Nursing of the National League for Nursing. For physician Assistants, graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of full-time experience (as a NP or PA) in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Licensure: Licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner; If Nurse Practitioner: RN Compact License(depending on State of primary residence) AND a license (or eligibility for) as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in the Commonwealth of Virginia AND a "Practice Agreement" signed by sponsoring/ supervising physician(s), AND a written "Scope of Practice/Protocol" signed by the supervising physician, AND "Drug Enforcement Administration License" (if prescribing controlled substances)
• Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
