Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care in Austin, TX is seeking a part-time board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner for the South Park clinic.

The role includes one weekday evening shift (4p–11p) and four weekend shifts monthly, seeing patients from 3 months of age, and performing common urgent care procedures in an outpatient setting. Texas license and DEA are required; independent practice is expected.

Qualifications

• Part-time schedule: one weekday evening shift (4p–11p) and four weekend shifts per month.
• Comfortable seeing patients aged 3 months and up.
• Ability to work independently in a clinic setting.
• Board certified with Texas state licensure and DEA.
• Ability to perform first reads on x-rays and manage common acute illnesses or injuries.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric and adult care including I&Ds, suturing, and minor procedures.
• Handle urgent care cases in an outpatient setting with ultrasound support as needed.
