Job summary

CareNow Urgent Care is seeking a part-time, board-certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner to work out of our Broadway clinic location in San Antonio, TX.

Qualified candidates will have Texas licensure and a DEA, be able to perform first reads on x-rays, and provide patient care for acute illnesses across pediatric and adult populations. Flexible hours and outpatient focus are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Board certified physician assistant or nurse practitioner
• Texas state licensure and DEA
• Ability to perform first reads on x-rays
• Skills to perform patient treatment procedures for acute illnesses or injuries (pediatric and adult care) such as I&D and suturing

Responsibilities

• Work part-time with weekday evening and weekend shifts as specified
• See patients ages three months and up
• Provide independent patient care with minimal supervision
