Job summary

UNC Health Medical Group Urgent Care Clinics in North Carolina has part-time Physician Assistant opportunities across multiple locations. You will join an interdisciplinary team to treat episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and provide occupational health exams.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited PA program, with licensure in NC or ability to obtain, and possess strong interpersonal skills for fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting preferred.
• Must see patients 4 months of age and older.
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate effectively with team members.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting.
• DOT Certification.
• Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Treat episodic illnesses and minor injuries in urgent care settings.

UNCHMG Urgent Care clinics, located in the Triangle of NC, have Part-time openings for Urgent Care Physician Assistants (PA) in multiple locations. Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams.
