Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Graduate of an AMA-approved Physician Assistant program required.
• NCCPA certification within one year of hire; Nurse Practitioner: MS in Nursing required.
• National accrediting body NP certification required or pending.
• Current MA or RI RN registration required.
• Over 3 months experience.
• License/authorization for PA or NP practice as applicable.
• CME requirements as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, perform physical exams, review records, and interpret studies.
• Explain procedures to patients and families; perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; review results toward quality care.
