Job summary

Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine in Thornton, CO is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver acute and episodic care in our urgent care setting. You will work under the Medical Director, providing comprehensive evaluation, treatment, and patient education.

Required Master’s program for PA/NP, Colorado license, DEA, and BLS/ACLS; 1+ year Urgent Care or related experience is preferred. We offer a competitive salary, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.
• Colorado Medical License is active and in good standing.
• DEA certificate held and active.

Responsibilities

• Medical evaluation, treatment and consultation for acute/episodic care.
• Respond to emergencies and answer medical questions.
• Document history, exam findings, and plan for each patient.
• Provide prescriptions, referrals and orders as appropriate.
• Perform routine procedures (suturing, splinting, foreign body removal).
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up with labs and specialists.
• Educate patients and maintain confidentiality and timely documentation.
