Job summary

Advanced Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine LLC in Thornton, CO is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP) to deliver acute and episodic care in an urgent care setting. You will evaluate, treat and manage a diverse patient population under Medical Director supervision.

The role requires a PA or NP with Colorado license, DEA, BLS/CPR and ACLS/PALS, plus at least 1 year in urgent care or related fields. Competitive benefits and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Practice or comparable specialty.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical evaluation, treatment and consultation services to patients.
• Responds to emergencies and answers medical questions.
• Documents chief complaints, history, exam, assessment and plan for each patient.
• Provides medical orders for refills, medications, testing and referrals.
• Performs routine procedures (suturing, splinting, foreign object removal).
• Provides referrals to medical specialists.
• Reviews test results and coordinates communication with patients.
• Provides patient education as needed.
• Maintains confidentiality and timeliness of documentation.
• Attends provider meetings as requested.
