URBN Inc. invites applications for a Software Engineer Intern to contribute across the full product lifecycle, from design through deployment and testing, focused on Ecommerce platforms including Anthropologie.com, UrbanOutfitters.com, FreePeople.com and ShopTerrain.com.

This paid internship offers hands-on learning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and exposure to senior leadership. Based at our Home Office in Philadelphia, PA, the program runs summer 2027 from 6/7 to 8/13.

• Understanding of OO principles and design patterns.
• Enjoys working in a collaborative team setting.
• Self-starter, ready to learn new concepts and technologies.
• Willing to take on responsibility for new features and develop them from inception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop new product features and advance the design of existing code for the Ecommerce applications.
• Opportunity to use programming languages like python, Golang, Javascript, HTML & CSS
• Opportunity to use databases like MongoDB & Postgres
• Participate in full software development lifecycle.
• Work on a scrum team with other software engineers, QA and Business Analysts

The Software Engineer Intern will be an integral part of each phase of the software development lifecycle including design, development, deployment, testing and maintenance. The primary focus will be on enhancing our Ecommerce platforms supporting the online shopping experience for our brands including Anthropologie.com, UrbanOutfitters.com, FreePeople.com and ShopTerrain.com.
