Job summary

The Ohio State University Extension Franklin County is seeking an Extension Educators Coordinator 4 to design, conduct and evaluate urban youth programs in alignment with local priorities. You will lead after-school programs, Spin Clubs, and Car Teens, and collaborate with the Franklin County 4-H Youth Development Educator to build a strong positive youth development framework.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED is required.
Associate degree in a relevant field is preferred.
4+ years of relevant experience required; 6+ years preferred.
Background check or drug screen may be required during the post-offer process.

Responsibilities

Design, conduct, and evaluate urban youth programs to meet local priorities.
Lead after-school programs, Spin Clubs, and Car Teens in collaboration with the 4-H Educator.
Participate in advisory committee meetings and conduct focus groups with partners in urban areas.
Coordinate needs assessments with OSU Extension, teachers, and school leadership.
Recruit volunteers and partners to support programming and engage with community stakeholders.
