You will lead a talented team of teachers, guide instructional practice, and ensure high-quality, student-centered classrooms aligned with the school's equity goals.

You will collaborate with the principal to monitor student performance data, plan professional development, and implement data-driven strategies to improve learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Superior grasp of effective instructional and behavioral methods and strategies for educating urban youth.
• Strong people and project management ability, with the proven ability to influence and enhance cooperative working relationships within a team environment.
• Interest in providing only the highest quality educational experience for students and their families.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly-changing environment.
• Ability to leverage computer software programs and other technology that will support the learning environment

Responsibilities

• Drive and support implementation of Mastery’s vision to ensure a positive school culture.
• Lead and supervise a team of educators to achieve superior academic performance.
• Coach teachers on effective instructional strategies and observations.
• Identify students needing extra support and coordinate services.
• Engage parents and community members in school activities.
• Assist the Principal in collecting and analyzing student performance data.
• Manage testing schedules and attendance for teachers
