Tighe & Bond, Inc. in Westwood, MA is seeking a Land Use Planning Intern to join our Land Use and Planning Team. You will help deliver infrastructure projects across the Northeast, creating maps, graphics, and visualizations while learning from experienced engineers.

The internship offers a hybrid work environment with mentorship, structured learning opportunities, and growth in urban planning, zoning, and permitting through hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing Urban Planning/Geography/Engineering/Environmental Studies/Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Previous work experience is preferred.
• Intellectual curiosity and problem-solving mindset.
• Flexibility and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Create maps, graphics, and visualizations.
• Support planning documents and public outreach.
• Research and analyze planning, community development, zoning, and permitting.
• Assist staff with projects and field assignments.
• Draft concepts in AutoCAD.
• Prepare memos, reports and project documents.
