Job summary

The City of Cincinnati Department of City Planning and Engagement offers a Co-Op/Internship to learn through hands-on support of the City Planning Commission, neighborhood plans, and data-driven projects. Responsibilities include drafting staff reports, creating maps in ArcGIS, analyzing Census data, and assisting with community engagement sessions and presentation preparation.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an accredited institution.
• U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible to work in the United States.
• Submit a City job application, resume, and portfolio.
• Students must be at least 18 years old or have a work permit.

Responsibilities

• Support City Planning Commission activities and meetings.
• Assist with neighborhood plans, zoning, and real estate items.
• Create maps and analyze Census data.
• Prepare staff reports and presentations.
• Engage with communities during engagement sessions.
