Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years in policy/urban planning with land use and mobility experience.
• Familiar with CA planning laws; strong report writing and presentation skills.
• Experience with public engagement processes and workshops.
• Proficiency with GIS, Adobe, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, and interpret data for city, county, and regional plans.
• Prepare reports, impact analyses, and presentations to guide decision-making.
• Develop plans for land use, mobility, housing, and environmental sustainability.
• Collaborate with agencies, stakeholders, and communities to craft policies.
• Support outreach efforts, including workshops, stakeholder meetings, and hearings.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and statutes.
• Identify best practices and policy trends in planning projects.
• Work with urban planners, designers, engineers to deliver holistic solutions.
• Contribute to client relationships through quality service.
