Qualifications

  • Planning degree by Summer 2027 in listed majors (see qualifications)
  • Majors include City and Regional Planning, Urban Planning, Environmental Science/Sustainability/Management, or related fields

Responsibilities

  • Help prepare Environmental Quality Act documents, environmental impact reports, and negative/mitigated declarations
  • Assist in Specific Plans, Master Plans, and other environmental or planning policy documents for infill and land development projects
  • Support project managers and collaborate with team members
  • Gain exposure to CEQA/NEPA, sustainability, climate action planning, ENVISION, LEED, and Salmon-Safe
  • Assist in environmental clearance for local comprehensive plans and land use planning
  • Engage with infrastructure projects across transportation, transit, land planning, and aviation

Education

Planning degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027
Urban Planning
City and Regional Planning
Environmental Science/Sustainability/Management
Or Other Related Major
