Job summary

True Vine Church Community (TVCC) in Philadelphia seeks a Lead Pastor to sustain revival, build relationships, and connect with an urban, multiethnic, and multigenerational community.

The candidate should love Jesus, faithfully teach God’s Word, empower leaders, and lead with humility, integrity, and emotional health. Licensing with The Christian & Missionary Alliance is required. Housing allowance and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Licensed official worker with CMA licensing required.
• Experience leading multiethnic urban congregations preferred.
• Ability to develop and empower leaders across generations.

Responsibilities

• Teach & Preach: lead biblical preaching across Sunday services and develop gifted teachers.
• Pray & Cultivate Prayer: nurture a culture of prayer for congregation and city.
• Develop & Equip Leaders: mentor and empower elders, staff, and ministry leads.
• Build & Provide Vision: partner with Elders to articulate vision and strategy.
• Shepherd & Care for the Church: pastoral care, visitation, weddings, funerals, crisis care.
• Community Engagement and Evangelism: support evangelistic initiatives in the city.
• Oversee Church Operations: lead ministries, memberships, administration, and delegation.
• Represent & Connect: liaise with CMA district and local Christian organizations.
