Job summary

Freedom Preparatory Academy seeks a middle school ELA teacher to develop student mastery through standards-aligned instruction and ongoing assessments. The role emphasizes collaboration with peers to align cross-curricular strategies and to foster a growth-focused classroom culture.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in education, a Tennessee teaching license (or reciprocal licensure), and 2–4 years of urban teaching experience, with a preference for a Master’s degree and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Master's Degree strongly preferred.
• Two to four years of urban teaching experience and ability to work with diverse learners.
• Valid Tennessee teaching license or reciprocal licensure requirements.

Responsibilities
