Job summary

Freedom Preparatory Academy seeks a high school Biology teacher to develop mastery of concepts through various instructional methods and regular assessments. You will collaborate with peers to ensure cross-curricular alignment and consistency with standards.

The ideal candidate will have a TN teaching license (or reciprocity) and 2–4 years of urban teaching experience, with strong data-driven instruction and classroom management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
• Tennessee teaching license or reciprocal/licensure eligibility.
• Two to four years of urban teaching/educational leadership preferred.
• Ability to teach diverse learners in heterogenous classrooms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
