Job summary

Freedom Preparatory Academy seeks a High School Biology Teacher to deliver mastery of biology concepts through ongoing assessments and varied instructional methods across our Memphis campuses. You will collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum and monitor student growth throughout the year.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), Tennessee teaching license or eligibility, and 2–4 years of urban teaching; strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Master’s Degree strongly preferred.
• Certification: Valid Tennessee teaching license and endorsements in the hired content area, or licensure eligibility.
• Two to four years of urban teaching and educational leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to work with a variety of learning abilities and diverse learners.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
