Job summary

Memphis Business Academy Middle is seeking a full-time teacher to advance its mission by delivering a standards-aligned curriculum and data-informed instruction. You will collaborate with the Principal and network admins to refine instructional practices and meet school performance goals.

Responsibilities include designing curriculum maps, assessments, and lesson plans; providing engaging instruction; and supporting students through data-driven coaching and tutoring, with ongoing professional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or higher in education or a related field.
• Masters degree preferred to enhance instructional practice.
• State licensure in Tennessee preferred, with eligibility required.
• Content area certification preferred as applicable.
• Strong technology skills including MS Office and data use.

Responsibilities

• Create standards-aligned curriculum with maps, units, and lesson plans.
• Develop and implement assessments aligned to standards.
• Deliver engaging, rigorous instruction to diverse learners.
• Attend PLC meetings and professional development sessions.
• Provide tutoring and academic support to small groups or individuals.
• Track student performance data and inform instructional changes.
• Enter performance data timely and complete administrative tasks.
