Memphis Business Academy is seeking a full-time teacher to advance its mission by delivering standards-aligned instruction and engaging students in rigorous learning. You will develop curriculum, lesson plans, and assessments, and collaborate with the academic team to drive student growth.

Reporting to the Principal and network administrators, you will use data to inform instruction, participate in PLCs, provide tutoring, and help maintain a positive, trauma-informed classroom environment while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field.
• Tennessee teaching license or eligibility (PEL).
• Experience in urban education with demonstrated gains in student performance.
• Bi-lingual is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create standards-aligned curriculum, unit plans, and assessments.
• Develop and implement engaging, standards-aligned lessons.
• Provide tutoring and academic support as needed.
• Analyze student data to inform instructional development.
• Participate in Professional Learning Communities and PD sessions.
• Adhere to school policies and school-wide systems.
