Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, English, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Upward Bound curriculum.
• Provide instruction in core subjects: mathematics, science, English, and social studies.
• Assess students' academic progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with program staff, including academic advisors and counselors, to monitor and support students' overall academic performance.
• Organize educational workshops, college visits, and cultural enrichment activities.
• Maintain attendance and progress records for students.
• Communicate with students, parents, and guardians about progress.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
