Microchip Technology Inc. in Colorado Springs is seeking an Ultra-Pure Water Engineer II to design, operate, and optimize the UPW system essential to wafer fabrication in a 24/6 manufacturing environment.

You will monitor water quality, lead preventive maintenance, support upgrades, and collaborate with process engineering, production, and EHS to meet SEMI standards. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3+ years of UPW experience; PLC/SCADA proficiency and strong

Formación

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3+ years of experience with ultra-pure water systems in semiconductor manufacturing.
Knowledge of SEMI F63 and ASTM D5127 standards.
Experience with automated control systems (PLC/SCADA) and water quality instrumentation.

Responsabilidades

Oversee UPW system operation and maintenance including RO, DI, UF, UV oxidation, and chemical dosing units.
Monitor water quality and system performance using analytical instruments and SCADA/PLC.
Troubleshoot water purity issues and improve system reliability.
Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for UPW equipment.
Lead or support UPW system upgrade projects and vendor coordination.
