Job summary

Summit Recommerce Group (SRG) is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager for Uptown Cheapskate West York. Join a growing team and help drive store performance while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You’ll lead a busy retail floor, manage checkouts, organize inventory, and support social media efforts. We offer advancement opportunities, a monthly bonus, 30% employee discount, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Leadership and customer service skills to manage daily store operations.
• Proven ability to merchandise and optimize product presentation.
• Experience with opening/closing procedures and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Be helpful and nice to our customers - our store vibe is everything
• Presort incoming clothes, shoes, and accessories brought in from vendors
• Use our computer system to buy in and price incoming items
• Organize racks, tag and hang up clothing
• Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to us
• Help make posts on our social media pages
• Merchandise! Organize clothing, handbags, and shoes, make the store look pretty
• Opening and closing tasks (closing down systems, nightly reports, opening/closing tills)
• Inventory management - transporting back stock bins to and from storage unit using a company box truck
• Assist Store Manager in leading the team

We’re looking for a full-time Assistant Manager to join our team. Leadership experience is appreciated, but not required. We are looking for people with the ability to lead, the willingness to learn, and the commitment to improve our store performance. Our store is part of a network of Uptown locations, and we love to promote and grow from within.
