Job summary

Uptown Cheapskate West York, operated by Summit Recommerce Group (SRG), is hiring part-time and full-time Buyers to join our team. We welcome dependable people who will help keep our stores organized, shoppable and fun.

This role offers cross-training across store operations and real opportunities to advance within our growing network. As a Buyer, you will presort and price items, merchandise the store, assist customers at the register, and contribute to social media posts.

Qualifications

• Be friendly and helpful to customers.
• Ability to presort, price, and organize clothing and accessories.
• Comfort with ringing up customers and assisting in selling.

Responsibilities

• Be helpful and nice to our customers - our store vibe is everything
• Presort incoming clothes, shoes, and accessories from vendors
• Use our computer system to buy in and price incoming items
• Organize racks, tag and hang up clothing
• Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to us
• Help make posts on our social media pages
• Merchandise! Organize clothing, handbags, and shoes, make the store look pretty!

We then sell those quality items in our store at huge discounts compared to retail. We’re looking for a part time and full time Buyers to join the team at our Uptown Cheapskate West York location. Must be available to work a minimum of 2 shifts per week, including some weekends.
