Job summary

Uptown Cheapskate, operated by Summit Recommerce Group (SRG), is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager for the Pineville location near Charlotte, NC. You’ll lead by example, supervise daily store operations, and support the Store Manager in team direction and growth.

Highlights include a strong focus on developing staff, cross-training across store functions, and opportunities within SRG’s growing network of nearly 30 locations.

Responsibilities

• Be helpful and nice to our customers.
• Presort incoming clothes, shoes, and accessories.
• Use our computer system to buy in and price incoming items.
• Organize racks, tag and hang up clothing.
• Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to us.
• Help make posts on our social media pages.
• Merchandise! Organize clothing, handbags, and shoes, make the store look pretty.
• Opening and closing tasks (opening/closing tills).
• Inventory management - transport back stock bins to storage unit.
• Assist Store Manager in leading the team.

Our store is part of a network of Uptown locations, and we love to promote and grow from within.

We’re looking for a full time Assistant Manager to join the team at our Uptown Cheapskate Pineville location.
Store Location: 8700 Pineville-Matthews Rd #900 Charlotte NC28226.

Responsibilities:

• Be helpful and nice to our customers - our store vibe is everything
• Presort incoming clothes, shoes, and accessories brought in from vendors (people from the community who want to sell to us)
• Use our computer system to buy in and price incoming items
• Organize racks, tag and hang up clothing
• Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to us
• Help make posts on our social media pages
• Merchandise! Organize clothing, handbags, and shoes, make the store look pretty!
• Opening and closing tasks (closing down systems, nightly reports, opening/closing tills)
• Inventory management - transporting back stock bins to and from storage unit using a company box truck
• Assist Store Manager in leading the team
