Job summary

Uptown Cheapskate Pembroke in Virginia Beach is hiring a full-time Assistant Manager to lead store operations and deliver great customer service. This role offers real advancement opportunities within a large SRG network and a supporting leadership team.

You will oversee daily store activities, train associates, and drive sales while upholding our values of customer focus and community impact. Benefits and growth are provided.

Responsibilities

• Be helpful and nice to our customers - our store vibe is everything
• Presort incoming clothes, shoes, and accessories brought in from vendors
• Use our computer system to buy in and price incoming items
• Organize racks, tag and hang up clothing
• Ring out customers on the register and teach them how to sell to us
• Help make posts on our social media pages
• Merchandise! Organize clothing, handbags, and shoes, make the store look pretty!
• Opening and closing tasks (closing down systems, nightly reports, opening/closing tills)
• Inventory management - transporting back stock bins to and from storage unit using a company box truck
• Assist Store Manager in leading the team
