Job summary
Zalk Josephs Fabricators is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to diagnose problems, keep production equipment running, and own uptime at our Stoughton, WI facility.
The role requires troubleshooting across electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, reading and writing basic math, and a strong commitment to safety. We offer a 3-day weekend schedule (Fri-Sun, 12-hour shifts) and a competitive pay with a shift premium.
Qualifications
- One (1+) year or more of maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting ability across electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Comfortable working at heights and a physically active environment.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math (including tape measure use).
- Strong commitment to safety and clear communication.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment with minimal supervision.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Work across electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Support continuous improvement of equipment reliability and performance.
- Conduct safety inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Maintain a safe, organized workspace and uphold safety standards.
