Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Manchester, PA is seeking a maintenance technician to maximize uptime on a fast‑paced manufacturing line. You will perform preventive maintenance, quickly diagnose and repair breakdowns, and keep precise records of work orders and equipment history.

You will work with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to lift plant performance, support installs and startups, and contribute to continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in maintenance within manufacturing or similar environments.
• Mechanical aptitude with diagnostic skills.
• Know-how of mechanical/electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficient with hand/power tools and measuring instruments.
• Team player who can also work independently; organized problem-solver.
• Willingness to overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Respond rapidly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate work orders, PM logs, and equipment history.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems.
• Support installs, modifications, testing, and startups.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality to improve performance.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement ideas.
• Assist with shutdowns, changeovers, and special projects.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety, food safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
