Job summary

Nice-pak Products Llc in Mooresville, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician responsible for keeping production equipment available at 85% or higher. The role collaborates with Maintenance Technicians, Planning, and Production to minimize downtime and improve machine reliability.

You will perform troubleshooting, setups, and preventive maintenance, follow OSHA guidelines, and use a CMMS to create and close work orders.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Less than two years’ experience as a maintenance technician in a similar industry or mechanical field.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety guidelines and procedures.
• Basic mathematics and safe use of workshop tools per SOPs.
• Knowledge of U.S. customary measures and basic metric units.
• Experience with CMMS software and Windows-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety and OSHA procedures in all work activities.
• Repair and maintain production equipment with basic knowledge.
• Safely use lifting devices and fixtures in an industrial setting.
• Communicate setups, troubleshooting, and repairs with production staff.
• Select and use proper tools for maintenance tasks.
• Understand equipment parts and lubrication practices.
• Carry out adjustments and changeovers after training period.
• Collaborate with operators to resolve machine issues.
• Record maintenance activities accurately for each shift.
• Maintain communication with supervisor about downtime over ½ hour.
• Support line production scheduling and priorities at shift start.
• Use CMMS to initiate, look up, and close work orders.
• Undertake additional training as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
