Job summary

Chevron is seeking an Upstream ERP Release Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA releases for upstream entities. You will own deployment planning, governance, and business readiness, coordinating across Operations, Asset Management, Finance, Procurement, IT, and other delivery teams.

The ideal candidate brings 15+ years of ERP or transformation program leadership, deep Upstream domain knowledge, and proven SAP delivery experience in complex environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience leading large-scale ERP, digital transformation, or business transformation programs.
• Strong Upstream business knowledge across Operations, Asset Management, Supply Chain, Finance.
• Proven SAP delivery experience including ECC or S/4HANA in complex enterprises.
• End-to-end deployment experience: testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, stabilization.
• Large-scale program leadership with cross-functional and executive stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of SAP EAM, Asset Performance Management, Maintenance & Reliability, and Master Data Governance.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end SAP S/4HANA release delivery for upstream entities, including planning, deployment, cutover, go-live, stabilization, and business outcomes.
• Maintain the integrated release plan with schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deployment readiness.
• Lead release governance and go/no-go readiness for executive decision-making.
• Coordinate across Upstream functions including Operations, Asset Management, Finance, Procurement, IT, and Delivery teams.
• Own business and deployment readiness including organizational readiness, change management, communications, training, and user adoption.
• Manage integration dependencies and resolve cross-functional integration risks.
• Own release risks and issues with mitigation, resolution, and executive escalation.
• Ensure compliance requirements including regulatory, SOX, cybersecurity, and operations are addressed.
