Job summary

IDB Invest invites active undergraduates to join a two-month internship in Washington, DC, focusing on knowledge management and capital markets case analysis. The program offers on-the-job learning, exposure to debt capital markets, and collaboration with multiple internal units to develop market-ready materials.

Participants gain hands-on experience with Power BI, Excel, and data analytics in a professional finance environment, while contributing to investment decision support and reporting

Qualifications

• Active undergraduate student in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Accounting or related field.
• Graduation date after internship period.
• Fluency in English; working knowledge of another Bank language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support division for origination with marketing materials and presentations.
• Assist Investment Officers with investment committee materials and coordination with internal units.
• Collect and analyze data on debt capital markets and sustainable finance.
• Help automate recurring reports and portfolio tracking using Excel, Power BI, and other tools.
• Assist in data collection, validation and analysis related to internal programs.
