Job summary

Airswift is seeking a seasoned project engineer to support cross-functional delivery in its oil and gas sector in the Williston area. This role requires coordinating engineering, construction, and project management activities across multiple project stages and ensuring alignment with specifications.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in engineering, broad experience in engineering, construction, and project controls, and strong leadership and communication skills to manage tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Experience across engineering, construction, project management, and project controls.
• Multidisciplinary knowledge from multiple project roles.
• Strong understanding of design standards, specs and work processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Facilities, oil and gas, and projects experience; upstream preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Participate in tender development, bid evaluation, and contractor selection.
• Coordinate long lead equipment identification and sourcing during early phases.
• Support development of key project deliverables and interaction planning.
• Coordinate project issue resolution and change request activities.
• Ensure assigned work scope is delivered in alignment with project objectives and specifications.
• Act as an interface between the project team and contractor to support effective execution.
• Help ensure smooth transitions between project stages.
• Support the project management team in applying project management processes.
• Provide technical support to the engineering process and review production, malfunction, and maintenance information to address issues.
