Job summary

Forge Biologics is seeking a Technician I, GMP Manufacturing — Upstream to contribute to the production of AAV-based gene therapy products in a cGMP environment. You will operate bioreactors and related equipment, perform cell culture steps, and ensure strict adherence to SOPs and batch records.

The role involves collaboration with QA/QC, documentation of processes, and participation in process improvements to enhance productivity while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a regulated manufacturing or lab environment.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while following timelines.
• Commitment to SOPs, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Execute upstream manufacturing operations per SOPs and batch records.
• Prepare and operate bioreactors, centrifuges, and filtration systems.
• Perform media and buffer prep and aseptic transfer of materials.
• Monitor process parameters and report deviations to supervisor.
• Document activities and results in compliance with cGMP.
