Job summary

Forge Biologics, based in Columbus at The Hearth, is hiring an entry-level Technician I for GMP manufacturing support. You will clean and sanitize GMP equipment and facilities, prepare tubing sets, and manage cleanroom inventory under supervision.

The role offers foundational experience in AAV gene therapy production, with opportunities to learn, collaborate across QA, QC, and Product Development, and to advance through mentorship and hands-on training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience following SOPs or other protocols/work instructions.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and use manufacturing software.
• Ability to work the hours necessary to support production and/or product transfer activities.
• Ability to work in loud noise environments and in PPE as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitization of GMP facilities and equipment, ensuring SOP and cGMP compliance.
• Assist in tube set preparation under supervision, following specified procedures and documentation.
• Replenish cleaning and consumable supplies for manufacturing operations and manage inventory.
• Stock and maintain common-use items in the cleanroom to support daily operations.
• Monitor expiration dates and rotate/replenish consumables to prevent shortages.
