Job summary

Morgan Benjamin Search Group is seeking a Facilities Engineer for its Houston team. This hands-on role supports production facilities across assets and requires ~2–8 years of upstream facilities experience with travel to field operations.

The engineer will assist with capital projects, facility modifications, production optimization, equipment reliability, and day-to-day operations while collaborating with Operations and other engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum Engineering or related discipline.
• Approximately 2–8 years of upstream facilities experience.
• Experience with production equipment and facility projects from scope to startup.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, planning, and execution of upstream production facility projects.
• Develop project scopes, cost estimates, equipment specifications, and bid packages.
• Coordinate with engineering consultants, vendors, contractors, and field personnel.
• Support projects through engineering, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Evaluate and optimize oil, gas, and produced water handling systems.
• Troubleshoot facility and equipment performance issues and improve reliability.
• Travel to field operations ~20–30%.
