Job summary

Biogen is seeking Manufacturing Associates for our Research Triangle Park (RTP) facility to support Upstream Cell Culture operations. You will work on bioreactors, perform inoculations, and help maintain cell culture processes in a clean, cGMP environment.

Roles require flexibility for 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3 calendar with days (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM ET) and potential Nights. Strong documentation, SOP adherence, and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or equivalent with 0+ years for II or 0+ years for III; flexibility on credentials.
• Knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and good documentation practices.
• Experience in a GxP environment or biopharma manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bioreactors using CIP/SIP recipes in DeltaV.
• Perform filtration, centrifugation, and harvest operations.
• Calibrate pH and DO probes and inoculate bioreactors across scales.
• Support cell growth with media feeds and process additions.
• Document activities in compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
