Job summary

Biogen, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Associate II/III for Cell Culture at our Research Triangle Park campus in North Carolina.

The role operates on a 12-hour night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM ET) within a 2-2-3 calendar rotation, focusing on upstream cell culture operations in a GMP environment. You will perform inoculations, media feeds, sampling, and routine maintenance of bioreactors and lab equipment, documenting activities to SOPs and ensuring cleanroom standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field with 0+ years experience
• BioWorks certificate or associate’s degree preferred with 0+ years experience
• High school diploma with 0.5+ years direct experience required
• Experience in a GxP environment

Responsibilities

• Inoculation thaws, splits, and pools using aseptic technique
• Prepare bioreactors via automated CIP/SIP with DeltaV
• Calibrate pH and DO probes during bioreactor prep
• Perform inoculation of bioreactors across scales
• Support cell growth with media feeds and process adds
• Document activities in accordance with cGMP and SOPs
