Job summary

Biogen in RTP is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support downstream purification operations on a 12-hour shift schedule (days or nights) in a 2-2-3 calendar rotation. You will perform processing steps, document cGMP data, and help maintain cleanroom conditions to ensure compliant manufacturing.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adaptability, and participation in training initiatives, with base pay ranges and potential incentives as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field with 2+ years direct experience in a cGMP environment.
• BioWorks Certificate or associate's degree with 2.5+ years direct experience in biomanufacturing.
• High School Diploma with 3+ years direct experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in a cGMP environment and following SOPs with GDP practices.
• Experience in aseptic/cleanroom settings and pipetting in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of DeltaV and LIMS software systems for process control.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment and execute SOPs to support daily manufacturing activities.
• Document cGMP data and deviations for processing steps and equipment activities.
• Create and revise batch records, SLRs, and equipment logbooks.
• Assist in in-process sampling and analysis (pH, Conductivity, protein concentration).
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support audit readiness.
• Contribute to training and development within the team.
