Job summary

Amaterra in Bend, Oregon, is seeking enthusiastic servers to provide beverages and food with hospitality and precision. The role requires handling guest interactions gracefully, understanding wine pairings, and maintaining exceptional service standards in a new Bend location.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in upscale service, OLCC permit, and ServSafe or Food Handler certification. Proficiency with wine and restaurant tech systems (Tock/Toast/Wine Direct) is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year-related server experience in upscale restaurant setting or equivalent.
• OLCC permit and ServSafe or Food Handler certification required.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification in state regulations must be complied with.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner and document orders for drinks and meals.
• Protect guests and establishment by following sanitation, safety, and alcohol policies.
• Help guests select food and beverages, explain chef specialties and wine pairings.
• Transcribe orders to bar and kitchen, noting dietary needs and special requests.
• Maintain table settings and reset sections for subsequent guests.
• Conclude dining experience with appreciation and invitation to return.
