Qualifications

• Essential: Minimum one (1) year previous experience in a similar position at a Four or Five Diamond Hotel.
• Essential: Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Essential: Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
• Essential: Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Essential: Ability to write legibly.
• Essential: Proven ability to motivate a team.
• Essential: Clear thinker in pressure situations and exercise good judgments.
• Essential: Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Desirable: Previous experience in Valet at an upscale hotel/resort.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming and departing guests: greet, park, retrieve cars, and provide luggage assistance, ensuring the security of vehicles in valet.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a professional, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with standards and scheduling needs.
• Maintain high standards of appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and nametag.
• Manage shift checklists and ensure completion with valet team.
• Perform internal audits on damage checks.
• Audit Forbes standards for department.
• Maintain knowledge of daily activities, arrivals/departures, hotel features, services and hours of operation.
• Comply with standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
• Be available to give directions or order transportation for guests.
• Other duties assigned.
